Raised in rural Minnesota, I developed a strong work ethic early in life—something that has shaped my entire career. After earning my degree from Iowa State University, I began my professional journey in Southern California before relocating to downtown Chicago in 2011. My career started with Northwestern Mutual and evolved quickly; by 2013, I transitioned into life insurance brokerage, managing a seven-state territory and working closely with top advisors and institutions across the Midwest.

Over the past 15 years, I’ve developed deep expertise in point-of-sale life insurance strategy, serving both individual and business markets. My work has focused extensively on advanced planning concepts, including trust-owned policies and executive benefits. My career path has also included valuable time in the InsurTech space, where I expanded my understanding of how technology is reshaping our industry. In the spring of 2025, I joined FSG, bringing with me a seasoned perspective and a commitment to advisor-centric support.

I hold the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) and Certified in Long-Term Care (CLTC) designations and am fully securities licensed. I’m also a past president of NAIFA, where I advocated for advisor success and industry integrity on a national level.

Outside of work, I live in Vernon Hills on Chicago’s North Shore, where I moved in 2020. I prioritize time with my three-year-old daughter, Emma, and our dog Millie. I’m an avid golfer, hockey player, and tennis enthusiast, with a growing curiosity for pickleball. I enjoy camping, motorcycle adventure riding, and any opportunity to cook or fire up the grill. Recently, nutrition and health have also found a place in my list of passions—proof that you’re never done evolving.
