With the estate tax laws likely to change, I was looking at your potential estate tax and what to do about it. I believe that, at your age, you are not ready to gift a majority of your assets to your children, but we also don’t want you to get trapped into a large estate tax bill. I think there is an option that might help put a Band-Aid on your estate plan until you get well into your retirement and a plan to return all your money back on the investment if you no longer need to do estate planning.
