Don joined Financial Strategies Group in the spring of 2020 and is now the head internal partner of FSG’s advanced markets team leading case design and planning for high-net-worth clients along with senior partners, Jim and Jamie Farmer. The advanced planning team at FSG specializes in zero estate tax planning, retirement tax planning, and philanthropic strategies to maximize charitable deductions during a client’s lifetime and at their passing.
 
Prior to joining FSG, Don worked in wealth management at Edward Jones and is a graduate from Loras College in Dubuque, IA. There he played baseball and participated in charity events for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation against childhood cancer and the Miracle Network’s “Dance Marathon”.
