Silent Trust
Silent Trusts and Domestic Asset Protection Trusts
Trusts can now be set up where the trustee does not need to disclose the assets held in a trust to beneficiaries, creditors, and future spouses.
Trust assets can also be sealed from the courts and public record.
This allows the grantor to:
- Protect their privacy
- Allows inheritance to be a blessing, rather then a curse, to future generations
- Avoid prenuptial agreement proceedings, as pre-marital assets are already protected
