I was raised in rural Minnesota working with livestock, which shaped a strong work ethic and a lasting interest in agriculture. I attended Iowa State University. After college, I spent eight years in Southern California working with a golf course architect, gaining early exposure to project driven work and client focused execution.

Starting my career as an agent with Northwestern Mutual in 2011, I transitioned into life insurance brokerage in 2013. I managed a seven state territory and worked closely with leading advisors and institutions across the Midwest.

Over the past fourteen years, I have built deep expertise in point-of-sale life insurance strategies across individual and business markets. My work focuses on advanced planning, including trust owned life insurance, business planning, and estate design. I also spent time in the Insurtech sector, gaining firsthand experience with how technology is reshaping the insurance industry. In spring 2025, I joined Financial Strategies Group, LLP, bringing an advisor focused perspective and practical execution.

I hold the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor and Certified in Long Term Care designations and maintain full securities licensing. I also served as past president of NAIFA Illinois, advocating for advisor success and industry integrity at the national level.

I make my home in Lake Bluff on Chicago’s North Shore. I prioritize time with my three-year-old daughter and our dog Millie. I enjoy golf, hockey, and tennis, with a growing interest in pickleball. I also spend time camping, motorcycle adventure riding, and cooking. Nutrition and health have become personal priorities and reflect a commitment to continuous growth.
